Another blast from the past year. Nitten by Danish singer Thomas Holm.
The simple, but effective and charming video is kind of what attracts you to the song to start with. But in fact, the song itself is a damn catchy tune. And it has funny lyrics too. Although the whole “jeg har trukket nitten” is an odd turn of phrase, at least for other Scandinavians. Literally it’s “I’ve drawn nineteen”. Is that an unlucky number in Denmark? Answers on a postcard!
