Now for the final part of this week's country installment. We're still in Norway, with a singer who possibly has a slightly more authentic country sound than Trine Rein. Her name is Ida Jenshus, and she has just released her second album No Guarantees, which opens with the attention-grabbing line Why can't I divorce you, now that I am dead?
The album is mostly a mid-tempo affair, meaning the couple of catchy uptempo songs do stand out. However, there's enough uptempo catchy stuff on this blog, so let's dwell on the rest. Here are two tracks, You Got A Way and a live performance of My Baby's Gone.
